I am very excited about 23 Things on a Stick. Participating in this class during the summer will allow me more time (inbetween soccer camps, basketball camps, horse camps and play dates!) to explore all the interesting things out there to find out about. This rainy weather has also made it easier to find time--kids are reading inside and not wanting to go on bike rides!!

I hope to bring some things back to my classroom that will excite the kiddos--I am looking to connect it with curriculum that I am already teaching but imbeding it with more technology.

Web 2.0 is pretty new to me--I have blogged, skyped with my niece in Germany, and used the search engines to help with a mulitude of things.

Thanks for getting us started in this grand adventure in 23 things on a stick.

I am excited to find out about some of the fun technology possibilities that are available. I am looking foward to finding more ways to add technology into my curriculum and daily work with students. It will be easier for me to navigate through the different sites with the summer mode in place and be able to spend more time on sites without the huge pressure of not enough time!
